One sunny day, Marlyn C. Ford, age 8, of Dallas, Texas, was visiting the ocean with Nicole, Tevon and Shanea. Marlyn was in the shallow water collecting colorful seashells. As she reached for a bright pink shell, someone tapped her on the shoulder. It was a beautiful mermaid!
